Lochwinnoch Hides summer night outing
Alba members once again enjoyed an evening out on Wednesday, photographing nature on the shores of Castle Semple Loch, Lochwinnoch.
Unfortunately the first stop at the bird hides was a bit of a let-down as none of them turned up for the occasion! Castle Semple however was just a moment away where members could photograph the mute swans and various other types of wildlife against the backdrop of Castle Semple Loch and a very dramatic cloudy sky.
Heavy rain towards the end of the evening forced members back to their cars and homeward bound. Some lucky members however did make a sneaky stop on the way home for some night shots at the Riverside Museum on the banks of the River Clyde!
Next week's evening outing will be in Edinburgh. Details here.

Little Mallard ducklings were a joy to watch playing in the water.
